BEFORE THE COURSE

DURING THE COURSE

AFTER THE COURSE

Before the course

We have gathered some of the most commonly asked questions about what ahppens before the start of the course regardring application, payment, the telephone interview etc.

Am I registering and committing to a course when I fill out on application?

The application is an application of interest and is therefor neither binding nor guarantees you space on the course.

After you have sent in the form to us, you will receive an email within short and you will be booked for a more in-depth conversation with one of us over the phone. The purpose of the conversation is for us to get a better picture of your needs and wishes, and for you to be able to ask us any questions.

When will you get in touch with me after my application has been sent in?

We normally reply with an email or telephone call the same day or the first weekday after your application has been sent in. Sometines our emails end up in a trash folder so make sure to check that folder if you havent heard from us and add us in your contact list (info@vitalisera.se)

What is included in the price?

The price refers to one of the steps and is the same for all three. Due to a high-intensity and individualized program, our courses are very staff-dense with course leaders, group leaders, assistants and one or two persons responsible for practical details on site. The course is long and extends over eight nights and seven days and there are permanent staff on call 24 hours a day.

Food and accommodation are of course included. In order to be able to run the courses in a quiet environment so that you can go deep without being distrubed by external stimuli, we have chosen to stay at Båven country and Lodge where we have our own chef cooking amazingly good organic food exclusively for us.

What are the payment options?

There are various options to consider when it comes to paying for your course. Although most of our participants pay as a private person, another potential option is to have your employer financially support you in taking the course. We also offer interest free payment plans with resurs Bank. Read more about our payment options here.

Our general terms of purchase and right of withdrawal can be found here.

Can I be advised not to take the course?

When applying for a course, we will book a telephone call with you. In this conversation, we try to form an opinion about your needs, and sometimes we come to the conclusion, together with you, that our course is not what you need in this moment. Most often, however, this is not the case.

With this being said, there isn't a "right or wrong" reason to want to come to our courses. Many come to us after some form of trauma or life crisis or choose to take our course because they feel lost, powerless or have a feeling that they are stuck in their life in some way. There are many reasons to want to enter the process we offer.

During the course

What happens during the course and is the course right for me?

What is the accomodation like?

Båven Country & Lodge has newly renovated rooms with private bathrooms in each room. The beds are already made when you arrive, and towels are included.

You will all have your own room. This allows you to focus on your own journey and process during the week.

Why should I do the course?

Why someone chooses to go Vitalisera's life course is highly individual.

Maybe you have a desire to achieve more meaning in life, to understand yourself deeply or to find ways to live your life in a way that gives you energy and joy? Maybe you want to understand your own emotional and behavioral patterns better, or find a life where your negative thoughts do not take over and control your mood? By looking at yourself on a deeper level, you become a better inner leader for yourself, and also a more grounded leader in your professional life. Taking our course is one of the best investments you can give yourself.

What does a day look like?

You will be guided through the week by course leaders and group leaders. You will not get a schedule in advance, but the information will come as the day and week progress.

The days start around 7 am and continue all day until approximately 9 pm in the evening. Exercises take place both in large groups and in small groups with the course leader and group leaders. There are also opportunities to have individual sessions when needed. In between sessions and workshops, you will have breaks where you get time for rest, reflection and maybe a nice walk in nature.

Is it correct that I need to enter silence in between the sessions and workshops?

Yes. Silence is exercised outside of the session rooms. In this way, you avoid all social demands and distractions and be with yourself. You do not have to take any responsibility for anyone other than yourself during the week which gives you the opportunity to go deeper into your own process.
In the session rooms, we have exercises and workshops, including inquiries and sharing, which require talking focusing on your own experience.
When the course is finished, we lift the silence and you have the chance to integrate and connect with the other participants if you want to.

Is it good to participate together with someone I know from before?

This is up to you and doesn't have to be a problem as long as you do not feel that your friend's presence prevents you from focusing on yourself, from opening up or stepping into your own process. Many choose separate course dates because of this but that is up to you and it can be an amazing experience to have someone you know in the room as well.

I am in a love relationship – what do you recommend regarding mine or our participation?

If you live with your partner, we recommend that you take the course at the same time or choose courses one after the other, depending on what you are most comfortable with. Vitalisera can be an important and transformational experience in your life, and it is valuable to be able to relate to the other partners experience. For many couples, it can be a strain on the relationship if only one takes the course, as it can be an experience you cannot relate to if you haven't gone through it yourself. Regardless of how you decide to do it, it is important that you talk through your decision and are prepared for the potential life changing experience one or both of you will have.

Is it enough to do one course or do I need to do them all?

You can feel completely content after taking our forst course. For many, our first course provides a much-needed break and opening in life with new life energy and sustainable tools to use in everyday life as an outcome.
However, it is also common for a curiosity and wish for a continued inner journey after the first course. We therefore offer a continuation course and a third course for those who wants with continuing themes.

After the course

Follow up evenings, buddies, etc. What happens after the course?

I have heard that many people make big life changes after the course, is that correct?

Most people go home with renewed strength, a deeper understanding of themselves and tools that make everyday life easier to handle and more joyful.

Sometimes, participants feel a need to make minor or major changes in their lives in order to feel good. This can be because our process brings you closer to your core values and many people in our society doesn't live their lifes according to their inne rlongings and needs. We recommend waiting with major life changes for at least six months after the course. In this way, the inner process you started during the course has time to settle in you and you can integrate it with your everyday life. Waiting a while with big changes gives you time to really feel what your needs are and sometimes you realise that you have everything you want, sometimes not.

Is there a follow up after the course?

You will be contacted by one of our group or course leaders for a follow-up interview 1-2 weeks after your course has ended.

It is for most people valuable to keep in touch with people who have undegrone the same process. Therefore, you will be coupled with one or two of the participants in your griuop for weekly follow-up phone calls for three weeks (more if wanted ofcourse) This will give you an opportunity to talk about everyday life and share where you are at in your highs and lows.

If you feel that you are in need of further conversations or coaching after the course, we have several group- and course leaders connected to Vitalisera who have their own practices where you can book an appointment. All whom have done the courses themselves and knows about the process. We also plan to have an annual reunion at Båven Country & Lodge, where you can come and enjoy being part of our community.
