Having a toolbox of different life tools to feel good is a strength to have..

One such tool to use is, for example, spending time in nature. Did you know that there is a lot of research into how nature affects us?

In studies conducted at the Karolinska Institute, it has been established that stays in natural environments reduce negative emotions and stress, and increase positive emotions, mental recovery and performance. It has been seen that people perform better on tests of attention and memory after nature experiences than before, compared to urban control environments.

Of course, real nature has the greatest influence, but even pictures and films of nature can affect our mood.
