Roger Kangas: Passionate Group Leader & Therapist

Together with a team of doctors and therapists, Roger has been leading courses for people with stress-related diagnoses such as MS, ME, Fatigue Syndrome since 1995. The interest in self-knowledge took off after a long period of stressful work abroad when he enrolled in a monastery retreat, which changed the whole existence radically. Back home in Sweden, with the realization that life must have more to offer, he met Bengt Stern at Mullingstorp and took all the courses there were. Upcoming training courses were; Therapist training at RISK in Denmark, Humaniversity in Holland and OSHO Multiversity in Poona India. Roger was then part of a group of therapists and doctors who for 6 years studied Neuroaffective personal development with Marianne Bentzen as mentor and leader. With leadership guru Will Schutz, he underwent The Human Element FIRO group development program as an adjunct to therapy.
Today he runs a conference facility together with his wife Lena with a focus on courses in personal development through BreathWork and meditation.

"I have always been interested in human psychology, development and how the group and the individual function and influence each other. Feelings and needs lay the foundation for our behavior and maybe we are not as different as we think. In the meeting with others, it can be easier to see yourself and precisely the meeting is the essence of my work. The meeting with the other and meetings with myself on a deep level. The ultimate goal is peace on earth, my hope is that I can contribute with my knowledge so that others come a little closer to their own peace, within themselves".
