Anna Blomquist

“Anna is the nurse who after 10 years in emergency care left the care and trained as an economist. In parallel with business development and local and regional development, she has through various courses and trainings explored what it is that shapes a person. Anna has been self-employed since 2015 and works with lectures, individual sessions, group development and individual leadership development.
She is a trained holistic talk therapist through Working With People with meditation and inquiries in full presence as a basis. Anna is also a trained mindfulness instructor and yin yoga instructor and invites you to meditation sessions and retreats. A recurring theme for Anna is effortlessness and softness. In 2017, she published the book Living Close to the Heart, which explores the question “is it possible to get where we want to be in any other way than through tough goals and effort?”

“In order to be in contact with our needs and our longings, we need to understand what has shaped us and how it affects us. Seeing oneself means raising one’s awareness of our habit patterns and basic assumptions and how it affects us, our way of life and our decisions. As we begin to discern ourselves from what we believe we must and should or believe expected of us, we can begin to see our longing, our true will. As the desire to live more in touch with ourselves becomes greater than fear, we can take longing in hand and join us with a playful curiosity and take developmental life we might not have thought possible.”
